Add tags to suppliers and supplier products
Adding tags to suppliers and supplier products makes it easy to search and find what you're looking for!
Suppliers
Adding tags to suppliers
Click into the 'Supplier' database.
Click the applicable supplier and then click the 'Edit' icon.
In the 'Tags' field type the tag you wish to use. After typing the tag click 'Create ''[Tag]'''. Once created, that tag will be available in the tag drop-down menu to select for suppliers going forward.
Add further tags by repeating step 3.
Click the 'Update Supplier' button to save the tags you've added.
Searching for suppliers containing tags
Type a tag in the supplier database search field and the matching results will show all suppliers containing that tag.
Deleting a supplier tag
Click into the 'Supplier' database.
Click the applicable supplier and then click the 'Edit' icon.
In the 'Tags' field remove tags by clicking the 'x' next to the specific tag you wish to remove. Even if the tag is deleted from the supplier, the tag will still remain in the drop-down menu for future selection.
Click the 'Update Supplier' button.
Supplier Products
Adding tags to supplier products
Click into the 'Supplier' database.
Select the applicable supplier product.
Click the 'Details' tab.
In the 'Tags' field type the tag you wish to use. After typing the tag click 'Create ''[Tag]'''. Once created, that tag will be available in the tag drop-down menu to select for supplier products going forward.
Add further tags by repeating step 4.
Click the 'Save Product' button to save the tags you've added.
Searching for a specific supplier's products containing tags
Select the applicable supplier.
In the 'Products' tab, search for the tab in the search field. The matching results will show all products containing that tag.
Deleting a supplier product tag
Select the applicable supplier.
In the 'Products' tab, scroll to the supplier product, or search for and select the applicable supplier product in the search field.
In the 'Tags' field remove tags by clicking the 'x' next to the specific tag you wish to remove. Even if the tag is deleted from the supplier product, the tag will still remain in the drop-down menu for future selection.
Click the 'Save Product' button.
