Setting time alerts for the commencement of itinerary items

Time alerts help you proactively communicate start and end times with your clients.

In order to send time alert notifications:

  1. you need to invite your client (the traveller) to view the 'upcoming' trip itinerary on the app;

  2. your client needs to download and sign up to the TripMapper mobile app; and

  3. your client needs to allow TripMapper to send them notifications.

To set a time alert, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the applicable:

    1. 'Template' itinerary (the time alert set will carry through when duplicating to create a 'Proposal');

    2. 'Proposal'; or

    3. 'Upcoming' trip itinerary.

  2. Click the applicable itinerary card.

  3. To set an alert on the start time, click the alarm icon.

  1. Switch on the time alert.

  1. Select the time alert, for example, 1 hour before the start.

  1. Once set, the alarm icon will turn purple.

  1. If you have:

    1. invited your client to access their itinerary on the app;

    2. your client has signed up to the mobile app; and

    3. your client has allowed TripMapper to send them notifications, they will receive your time alert notifications.

  2. You can repeat the steps for the end time.
