Importing Itineraries

Available to Suitcase, Trunk and Private plans only.

TripMapper for Business supports importing travel itineraries from external sources to automatically populate your itinerary (written content only, not images). You can upload PDF documents or paste URLs containing travel itineraries, and our software will extract and convert the written content into TripMapper's itinerary format.

Please note, this all data will be processed by our AI partner OpenAI and this feature is currently in beta. Therefore, please note:

  • The import accuracy may not be 100% accurate or reliable.

  • Some data may be incorrectly interpreted or missed entirely.

  • Manual review and editing of imported information is highly recommended.

  • Complex or non-standard document formats may not import correctly.

  • We advise against importing PDFs or URLs containing any personal data.

How to import data from a PDF

  1. Click '+ New Proposal' and then 'Import from PDF'.

  1. Drag and drop your file, or select a file from your computer.

  1. Select the applicable team (optional) if creating a template from the PDF, or select the applicable team (optional) and client (mandatory) if creating a proposal from the PDF.

  2. Click 'Accept and Process' after reading the notes to the left of the button.

  3. The data will start processing:

  1. Once data has successfully imported:

    1. Review each imported item carefully

    2. Edit any incorrect and/or incomplete information

    3. Add missing details manually if needed

How to import data from a URL

  1. Click '+ New Proposal' and then 'Paste a URL'.

  1. Paste the URL of the itinerary where directed.

  1. Select the applicable team and client.

  2. Click 'Accept and Process' after reading the notes.

  3. The data will process.

  4. Once data has successfully imported:

    1. Review each imported item carefully

    2. Edit any incorrect and/or incomplete information

    3. Add missing details manually if needed
